Victoria Azarenka (Belarus) lost to Australian tennis player Samantha Stosur at the 2013 Southern California Open, which bumped her from the #1 to #2 spot in the Womens Tennis Association rankings. Despite her loss, Azarenka looked as graceful as always in this winning outfit. She pulls together the always-versatile Nike Woven Pleated Skirt with the loose-fitted Nike Woven Tank for a casual, feminine look. We’ve chosen the Nike Advantage Tank for layering. It’s made of a Dri-FIT stretch jersey fabric and has a built in bra, making it a great layering piece or a one you can use on its own.
Maria Sharapova squared off against Victoria Azarenka in the women’s final match at Indian Wells on March 18, 2012. Azarenka defeated Sharapova 6-2, 6-3, winning the tournament. Maria’s style won us over at this match, however. Her effortless outfit is re-created here with the Nike Baseline 3/4 Sleeve Top, Nike Premier Maria Skirt and one of Nike’s most popular women’s tennis shoes, the Nike Zoom Vapor 9. We love this outfit for its simplicity, and ability to transition from a finals match to a casual Sunday match with friends.
